
William Wordsworth was born in Northern England in 1770. He was an English Romantic poet and a nature poet.
He was the second of five children. Wordsworth's life in the Lake District greatly influenced for his writings and appreciations of nature.
He opened people’s eyes to the beauty and grandeur of nature and he emphasized the joy that gives nature to the lives of people.
He believed that the nature has a healing power. He wrote his poems in simple words from everyday speech.
Wordsworth was also become Poet Laureate from 1843 until his death in 1850.
